Ziya Özalp, Board Member of Martaş Otomotiv, Joins the Leadership of World-Leading Automotive Partnership Organization ATR International
Ziya Özalp, a Board Member of Martaş Otomotiv, has been elected to the Board of Directors of ATR International, a leading global automotive cooperation organization. This organization, which encompasses 290 independent spare parts distributors from 66 countries with a total business volume of €40 billion, held its meeting in Hungary where Özalp was selected. Özalp is the first Turkish individual to be appointed to this prestigious role within the organization.
Expressing his pride in being elected to the Board of ATR International, Özalp stated, “It is a great honor for me to represent Turkey on an international platform and to be part of the management of this massive organization with a business volume of €40 billion. Through this significant role, we will showcase the expertise and strength of Turkey’s automotive sector on the global stage.”
A Turkish business figure has been appointed to the leadership of one of the world’s most established and prominent organizations in their field. ATR International, which unites leading independent automotive spare parts companies globally, selected its new Board members at a recent meeting in Hungary.
Founded in 1967, ATR International includes 290 independent spare parts distributors from 66 countries, collectively achieving a business volume of €40 billion. Ziya Özalp, a Board Member of Martaş Otomotiv, was elected to the Board at this meeting.
ATR International has 11,200 sales points and 196,500 employees worldwide. The organization aims to provide high-quality original spare parts to independent auto repair shops and parts sellers. Its headquarters is located in Denkendorf, near Stuttgart, Germany.
