Akbank was Selected as “Turkey’s Best Bank in Sustainable Finance” for the 3rd Time

Akbank was deemed worthy of four awards at the Global Finance Sustainable Finance Awards, where the performance of banks in the field of sustainable finance is evaluated. Akbank, which was selected as “Turkey’s Best Bank in Sustainable Finance” for the third time in a row, also received three important awards in the Central and Eastern Europe region with its achievements.

Akbank, which has undertaken innovative work with its people-oriented sustainability strategy, achieved a significant success by winning four awards at the Sustainable Finance Awards organized by Global Finance.

Akbank, which was selected as “Turkey’s Best Bank in Sustainable Finance” for the third time in a row, also;“Best Bank for Sustainable Infrastructure Financing in Central and Eastern Europe”, “Best Bank for Social Bonds in Central and Eastern Europe” and “Best Bank for Sustainability-Related Loans and Climate Transformation Finance Loans in Central and Eastern Europe” won the awards.
