İşbank and OSBÜK Sign Protocol to Support Industrial Zones

Türkiye İş Bankası has signed a protocol with the Supreme Organization of Organized Industrial Zones (OSBÜK) to contribute to the transformation of Organized Industrial Zones (OSBs).

Earlier this year, İşbank launched the “100 SMEs’ Twin Transformation Journey” project, symbolizing digital and green transformation. With the protocol signed with OSBÜK, İşbank offers support to companies located in OSBs with favorable interest rates and repayment terms.

The protocol encompasses various İşbank products and services, including twin transformation investments for OSBs, export credits, tax payments, commercial credit cards, and letters of guarantee.

“Supporting the Growth and Transformation of Companies in OSBs”

Sezgin Yılmaz, Deputy General Manager of İşbank, emphasized the role of Organized Industrial Zones in enhancing production, investment, and employment, as well as contributing to regional development. He stated, “OSBs are one of the key drivers of sustainable development and industrialization in our country. Businesses operating in OSBs need to expand globally through exports, reduce their carbon footprint, implement high-value-added technology-supported projects, and enhance productivity and competitiveness. To address these needs, we signed a protocol with OSBÜK to accelerate the twin transformation processes of SMEs in OSBs and support their commercial activities. Through this protocol, we aim to assist businesses in OSBs with their green and digital transformation projects, and provide financial solutions such as export credits, letters of guarantee, and commercial credit cards, as well as insurance and tax payment products and services. We will continue to support SMEs in their twin transformation journeys.”

OSBÜK President Kütükcü: “OSBs are Turkey’s Productive Power”

Memiş Kütükcü, President of the Supreme Organization of Organized Industrial Zones (OSBÜK), highlighted the significance of OSBs as Turkey’s productive power. He remarked, “Every support given to our OSBs is essentially a service to Turkey’s future.” Kütükcü noted that the number of OSBs in Turkey has reached 403, with 67,000 factories providing direct employment to 2.6 million people. He added, “With the collaboration protocol signed with İşbank, our industrialists in OSBs will be able to utilize the Twin Transformation Loan at favorable costs for investments in various areas such as increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and developing green infrastructure. Additionally, with this protocol, our industrialists will have access to credit under favorable conditions for financing exports.”

This collaboration between İşbank and OSBÜK marks a significant step towards supporting the sustainable growth and transformation of Turkey’s Organized Industrial Zones, ensuring they remain competitive and productive in the global market.
